Description (brief)
Bone dagger with a geometrical carved design. At the top of the handle tree bark is plaited around the knob of the bone. Attached to the knitting are strands with shells and tufts of casuaris feathers. Purchased 1950-1962.

Production technique
The handle is covered with plaiting of treebark, painted with white chalk probably burned from shells. Feathers and shells are used as decoration.
