Description (brief)
Mouth harp made from a piece of bamboo stem. The stem is cut in twice down to the node. The part between the cuts is narrow and short. The narrow side of the harp is wound with a fibre cord, probably tree-bark fibre, to keep the pieces together. The broad side of the harp has a cord around it as well, to create variations in pitch. The harp is placed at the mouth. Its sound is made breathing out. The mouth harp was used to let a girl know she was favoured.
