Description (brief)
Panel cut after a traditional war shield. The panel is decorated with eight horizontaly mirrored curl motifs representing kuskus tails cut in relief. On each side of the shield four rhinoceros bird heads are depicted (an important headhunting symbol). The underside of the shield is decorated with two cut out birds'heads, possibly depicting the black king cockatoo.
