Axe of smooth, probably polished wood. The stone axe head is attached to the handle with rattan bindings.

Hour-glass shaped drum of light-coloured wood. Around the handle a wide band of geometrical designs is engraved. The raised parts are coloured black, the cut-out parts are coloured white.

Wind instrument decorated with engraved designs. Colours are red, blue, and yellow, but are probably applied later. Carved design is Asmat (GK).

Walking stick of dark-coloured wood, partly ajour-cut.

Dark-wooden dish for mixing pigments, partly ajour carved. The bottom is decorated with engraved patterns. This kind of dishes was mainly used for mixing red and white pigments ( from small fruits and lime respectively), used for decorating for example ancestral statues, shields and praus. This dish was probably made for the tourist market.

Knotted carrying net.

Bracelet of plaited fibers, including orchid stem fibre. Purchased 1975.

Accessory for storing small items. The object is made of an empty coconut shell on a cord. The coconut is engraved with spiral patterns and coated with varnish. The cord is a beadwork of fruit seeds and beads.

Model of a trading- or warfaring prau with two wings and a sail. It is made of wood and palm leaf, plus the two wings and a sail. Painted. Furthermore two oars, one of them is probably also a rudder, a prow fragment, a stick and a feather for decoration.

Container and licking stick used in chewing sirih or betel. The gourd is used for keeping the lime which is an important part of the sirih wad. The gourd is ornamented with engraved spirals coloured black. The licking stick is engraved.
