Description (brief)
Hourglass shaped wooden drum, painted black. The handle is in the shape of a man, arms and legs clutching the drum. The head is missing. The limbs are decorated with engraved patterns. The donor put on a new piece of chamois leather and attached strings of plaited raffia at several places. Currently the drum is painted black, this too was done by the donor.

Description (brief)
Black wooden statuette of a standing Dani man on pedestal. The headgear is made of bark fibre and feathers, the arm ornament of down, the penis gourd of bamboo. At the breast an ornament is carved out. In one hand the man carries a spear and in the other an axe. The donor received the object from a committee member (missionary) at the disbanding of the Broeder Kruytwagen Foundation (founded in 1986, disbanded 2001).
